LIVING FAITH At 45: Pastor Olusola Obebe Hails Bishop Oyedepo’s Liberation Mandate, Says Thanksgiving Unlocks New Levels
Eteo, Eleme LGA, Rivers State – As Living Faith Church Worldwide marked 45 years of divine impact, Pastor Olusola E. Obebe of the Eteo branch in Eleme Local Government Area, Rivers State, highlighted God’s undeniable proofs in 45 years of the liberation mandate revealed to the founder, Bishop David O. Oyedepo.
Speaking during the 45th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service on Sunday in Eteo, Pastor Obebe told the congregation that the Commission, founded by Bishop David Oyedepo in 1981 as Living Faith World Outreach, also known as Winners’ Chapel, is celebrating 45 years of advancing the gospel, building faith, and driving kingdom development across nations.
The clergyman noted that under Bishop Oyedepo’s visionary leadership, the Commission has grown from a small fellowship into a global movement with thousands of churches established worldwide, pioneering faith-based education, humanitarian outreaches, and entrepreneurial empowerment in communities.
According to Pastor Obebe, “At 45, Living Faith Church Worldwide has entered a new era of glory. We decree fresh fire on the altar, greater territorial dominion, and an unprecedented harvest of souls. The liberation mandate shall not lose relevance. We celebrate 45 years of signs, wonders, and kingdom exploits. To God be all the glory.”
In his 45th Anniversary Thanksgiving sermon, the prophetic preacher reiterated the power of thanksgiving in a believer’s life, stressing that faith thrives on understanding.
“Thanksgiving provokes the hand of God. It is vital for any believer who must grow in faith. When you stop appreciating God, depreciation sets in. We owe God thanksgiving. 2 Thess. 2:13; Luke 17:17.
“God will do a miracle that will appear like a lie when you engage in consistent thanksgiving as a believer. We owe God thanks for all His good works. Eph. 5:20. If you cannot see the last thing God did for you, you may not also experience the next miracle.
“We are not qualified for the next blessing until we give thanks. We owe God timely thanksgiving to avoid a possible reversal of such blessings in our lives. Psalm 118:23. Thanksgiving is a gateway to new altitudes in life.
“No one can change levels in the kingdom without thanksgiving. The Faculties of Medicine and Law were recently inaugurated by Bishop David Oyedepo at Covenant University, Canaanland, through thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is the fruit of our lips that guarantees returns on our labour. Thanksgiving is power,” Pastor Obebe stated.
