NCDMB Celebrates Winners of 8th Science Quiz Competition
The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) hosted the Award of Prizes for the 8th NCDMB Science Quiz Competition for secondary schools in Bayelsa State at the Nigerian Content Tower, Yenagoa.
Representing the Executive Secretary, Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe (FNSE), the General Manager, Corporate Communications/Zonal Coordination, Esueme Dan Kikile, highlighted the competition as a flagship initiative fostering early interest in science among students. He emphasized its alignment with NCDMB’s mandate to build local capacities in the oil and gas industry and expressed optimism that participants’ performance would reflect in their external examinations. He concluded by appreciating NTA Yenagoa and the Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN) for their dedication to the project’s success.
In her goodwill message, Mrs. Daoju Whyte, General Manager of NTA Yenagoa, commended NCDMB’s consistent investment in human capacity development. She encouraged students to seize such opportunities and urged the winners to inspire others.
The Quiz Master, Mr. Okpobo Richman, praised NCDMB for sustaining the competition, calling it a platform for students and schools to excel. He also thanked the quiz team for their contributions to a successful event.

🥈 1st Runner-Up: Benny International School, Akenpai
🥉 2nd Runner-Up: Federal Government Girls College, Imiringi
Mr. Okpobo Richman was also recognized with an award.
