NCDMB Trains Young Engineers on Facility Management
The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has successfully concluded a transformative 5-day training program on Facility Management for young engineers, aimed at enhancing their readiness for the oil and gas industry. Held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the program brought together aspiring engineers from diverse disciplines and provided them with practical insights into facility operations, maintenance, and safety protocols.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Engr. Kunu Harmony, STA Projects representative, emphasized the strategic importance of the training in bridging the gap between academic learning and field practice. “This training realigns young engineers with the practical path to success,” he said. “We are committed to evolving the curriculum to include advanced simulations that replicate real-world scenarios, ensuring participants gain hands-on experience even before stepping into the field.”
