NNPC Owns 7.2% Stake Not 20% in Dangote Refinery, Says Aliko Dangote
Aliko Dangote, Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Dangote Refinery, says Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC no longer owns a 20 per cent stake in the refinery but 7.2%.
Speaking to journalists in Lagos on Sunday, Aliko Dangote, Sunday said that the nation’s refinery failed in its obligations on payment of their balance to Dangote Refinery by June.
According to him: “NNPC no longer owns a 20% stake in the Dangote refinery. They were met to pay their balance in June but have yet to fulfill the obligations. Now, they only own a 7.2% stake in the refinery.”
