
NOA Seeks Good Working Relationship with BANGOF
The National Orientation Agency, NOA has given assurance of a good working relationship with all stakeholders particularly civil society organizations in Bayelsa State.
State Director, Mrs Grace Olobio gave the assurance when she led a team on a courtesy visit to the Bayelsa Non Governmental Organizations, BANGOF office in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
Mrs Olobio who was recently appointed as the State Director noted that the agency is open to constructive criticism from stakeholders in order to help them improve their services in the state.
“We are giving you assurances that NOA will not fail you, we are ready to learn and work with everyone’s ideas to ensure that the agency becomes better in this state”
In his response, Chairman of BANGOF, Mr Taritein Boco pointed out that civil society organizations are critical stakeholders in disseminating information in communities hence, they are ready to give the new leadership of the agency the needed support.
“We have partnered and collaborated with NOA in many programs in the past, so we are ready to continue, we are recommitting ourselves to working with you”
Also speaking, Executive Director, Women Organized for Mentorship and Advocacy Network WOMAN, Lady Eunice Nnachi welcomed the state director as well as the other executive members for the visit.
Lady Nnachi emphasized that the foundation would give the agency support in spreading information to reorientate communities through outreaches.
