PNC 2025: NCDMB, DMG Events Seek Bayelsa Government Partnership
Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and DMG Events as part of preparation for the 2025 edition of the Practical Nigerian Content (PNC) Conference are seeking the partnership of the Bayelsa State government.
This was made known when a delegation of NCDMB and DMG Events met with the Chief of Staff to the Bayelsa State Government, Hon. Peter Akpe, PhD, to commence preparations for the 2025 edition of the Practical Nigerian Content (PNC) Conference.
According to a NCDMB’s Facebook post, the meeting aimed to brief the Bayelsa State Government and seek its continued partnership and support towards the successful hosting of the annual conference.
This year’s conference, themed “Securing Investments, Strengthening Local Content and Scaling Energy Production,” is scheduled to hold from December 1–4, 2025, at the 1,000-seater NCDMB Conference Hall, Yenagoa.
The NCDMB delegation was led by the General Manager, Corporate Communications, Dr. Obinna Ezeobi, accompanied by Mrs. Oyiza Preye Lambert (Supervisor, Events), Mr. Teleola Oyeleke (Supervisor, Conventional Media), Mr. Teddy Bai (Supervisor, Government Relations), and other team members.
The DMG Events team included Ms. Olamide Oloko (Conference Producer), Mr. Olumuyiwa Adebayo (Delegate Sales Manager), and Ms. Chidinma Opara (Operations Executive).
During the discussions at the Bayelsa State Government House, deliberations focused on preliminary arrangements for the 13th edition of the PNC Conference. The Bayelsa State Government reaffirmed its commitment to providing the statutory support it has consistently extended to the event over the years.
The PNC Conference has become a signature industry event, attracting top government officials, managing directors of international and indigenous oil and gas companies, service providers, and other key stakeholders across Africa. It features plenary sessions, technical discussions, a world-class exhibition, gala nights, a golf tournament, guided visits to oil and gas facilities, and a youth-focused programme designed to expose young people to emerging opportunities and the skills required to harness them.
At the meeting, NCDMB and DMG representatives emphasized their determination to make the 2025 edition of the PNC memorable, beneficial, and impactful. Particular attention will be given to enhancing the Youth Event to serve as a sustainable pipeline for capacity-building initiatives for Bayelsa youths.
