Rivers Community Celebrate Appointment of Dr Sawyer As New Bayelsa HoS
The Federated Union of Rivers Indigenes in Bayelsa State, (FURIBS) otherwise called Rivers Community has celebrated the appointment of Dr. Wisdom Ebiye Sawyer as the new Head of Bayelsa State Civil Service (HoS).
In congratulatory message signed by Chief Barisuka Prince Beteh, President of Rivers Community said the appointment is well deserved to worthy in-law.
Chief Beteh in a note called on all Rivers indigenes to celebrate Dr. Wisdom Ebiye Sawyer for numerous contributions to the union through his wife, Dr. Mrs Pauline Sawyer.
He said, “Let celebrate with Dr. Ebiye Wisdom Sawyer the new Head of Sevice (HoS) Bayelsa state, our in-law and husband to Dr. Mrs Pauline Sawyer our very dedicated sister from both Kalabari and Andoni ethnic communities.”
The President of FURIBS continued “It is my ernest prayer for God’s divine protection and wisdom to guide you through. Congratulations sir”, he concluded.
Chief Beteh used the opportunity to thank the Miracle Governor, Senator Douye Diri for finding their in-law worthy of the appointment.
Dr Sawyer before his appointment by Governor Diri was the permanent secretary Ministry of Health where he shown enviable administrative acumen.
