Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled. Hebrews 12:14,15

INSIGHT | Seeds of Destiny, SOD Devotional Today Tuesday 12th December 2023 Paul Enenche | Two Requirements to See God

Our anchor Scripture reveals that peace with all men and holiness are two conditions that make men see God.

It is very important to know that the ultimate goal of Christianity is eternity with God in heaven. The ultimate goal of our Christian profession is to arrive in heaven at the end of our journey on earth. God wants to say to us on the last day, “Welcome, thou good and faithful servant.”

Now, many of us have tried to live the lifestyle of holiness in order to see God, but we do not know that making peace with men is also a requirement that makes men to see God. To see God, you must not only be holy but also be at peace with all men. The grace to be holy and be at peace with all men be released on you in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: To see God, you must not only be holy but also be at peace with all men.

ASSIGNMENT:

1. Ask God for the grace to maintain a lifestyle of holiness.

2. Make up your mind to be a peace with all men. Forgive all who have offended you.

PRAYER: O LORD, I ask for the grace to maintain a lifestyle of holiness. Rid my heart of any bitterness that may hinder my eternity with You, O LORD, in Jesus’ Name.
