TOPIC: DILIGENCE – A KEY TO AFFLUENCE
SCRIPTURE: He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. Proverbs 10:4.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To be diligent is to be financially eminent.
Existence in diligence has been identified as one of the wisdom keys for living. Existence in diligence is also called a life of industry.
When Joseph’s brothers came into Egypt, he took them to greet Pharaoh.
Genesis 47:6 says,
The land of Egypt is before thee; in the best of the land make thy father and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if thou knowest any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle.
Pharaoh seemed to have told Joseph, “Any of your brothers who is a man of activity, make him a ruler over my cattle. The man of energy shall control my prosperity. Do not give me anyone who sleeps for twenty hours in a day. Do not give me anyone among them who is a lazy man. Do not give me anyone among them who wants every day to be a public holiday. Anyone among them who is an active person, let him control my cattle and horses.”
You must understand that being diligent is a sure way to eminence in life. If you are diligent, you must end up being prominent. To be diligent is also to be financially eminent. You cannot combine poverty with diligence.
Proverbs 10:4 says:
He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
Reject the lifestyle of indolence. Decide to be diligent in life.
Remember this: To be diligent is to be financially eminent.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to maintain a lifestyle of diligence.
2. Reject every spell of laziness, indolence and lethargy.

Lord, I receive a fresh baptism for diligence. Help me not to be slack with my hands so I don’t lack in life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
