“Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.” (Acts 12:1)

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]n our Focal Scripture, Herod arose against the church. According to bible history, the lineage of Herod came from Edom. They were descendants of Esau. In Genesis 23 vs. 23, God said to Rebekah that the older (Esau) will serve the younger (Jacob). By God’s proclamation, Israel was meant to prevail over the land of Edom, but in a matter of time, Herod from the tribe of Edom began to rule and reign over the land of Israel. There was a satanic reversal of what God promised.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every power of hell that wants to reverse the word of the Lord concerning you, I command that power to break by fire. I command every satanic plot to reverse your fortunes, to scatter by the fire of God. Every ‘Herod’ that wants to usurp the order of heaven over your life, let the fire of God answer. Every evil man that wants to subdue your destiny and hinder your rising, let fire answer.
The house of Jacob was meant to be perpetually ahead of the house of Esau, but Herod arose and turned it upside down. Hear me as I hear the Lord: any man that wants to unseat you from the high places where God has positioned you, let warring angels come against them. I speak against every voice that wants your placement in destiny to be reduced. I speak against every hand of the enemy that wants to pull back your destiny.
Today I decree, what you are meant to rule over, will not rule over you. What God has empowered you to dominate, will not dominate over you. What God has positioned under your feet will not sit on your head. No negativity will sit on a throne over you. No health challenge will sit over your life. No affliction will sit over your life. No altar of hell will sit over your life. No evil man will rule or reign over you. No ‘Herod’ will reign over you.
It will never be said that you moved from the front to the back. It will never be said that you moved from the mountain to the valley. You will not be counted amongst those whose destiny placements were reduced.
Job 42:2 MSG says: “I’m convinced: You can do anything and everything. Nothing and no one can upset your plans.”
