Vote Dise Sheila Ogbise for ‘Outstanding Impact Award’ in 2020 Gani Fawehinmi Awards
She has been involved in civil advocacy to champion the cause of women and children that have been victimized. Dise Sheila Ogbise takes up their cases to a logical conclusion to see that they get justice.
She was nominated as one of nominees for the 3rd edition of Gani Fawehinmi Impact and Integrity Award (GFIIA).
The Award which is named in honor of late Human Rights activist, Chief Gani Fawehinmi is designed to reward act of Integrity, Accountability and Whistleblowing to deserving Nigerians of imperturbable characteristic, Courage, Selflessness and Honesty.
To this end, HEDA presents its Annual Celebration and Honor for Integrity, Accountability and Whistleblowing to deserving Patriots.
Dise Sheila Ogbise is the immediate past Chairperson of International Federation of Women Lawyers, FIDA, Bayelsa State Chapter as well as Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Sagbama Branch.
Due to her work on women and children, she founded the DO Foundation Nigeria where she takes up cases of indigent victims of violence.
At the formation of state action group by the first lady of Bayelsa State, Mrs. Gloria Diri, Dise serves as the Deputy Co-ordinator, Gender Response Initiative Team, GRIT.
