Although, organizers of the show, cable television African Magic has not formally announced date for the events, Reflector TV reporters are keeping tap on previous events calendar.

Big Brother Naija 2022 (Season 7) start date has not been announced but judging from previous editions, the reality tv show is likely to start in June/July 2022. The drama, fun, suspense, and romance will air 24/7 on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 29.

Big Brother Naija Registration Requirements in 2022

Here are the requirements you are expected to meet before your application can be successful.

You must be a Nigerian citizen.
You must be at least 21 years old.
You must have an International Passport.
You must be ready to travel, and able to administer medications (if sick or have a minor health issue), responsible, and can be able to stay on the show for up to 90 days without contacting the outside world.
You must be educated. You need the minimum of an O’Level result (WAEC, GCE, or NECO) before you’ll be allowed to take part in the show.
You should be emotionally and mentally stable.
If you took part in any of the previous seasons of Big Brother Naija as a housemate, then you are not allowed to take part again.
You must record and upload your 2-minute video.
You must have an active mobile phone number.
You must have an active email address where you can receive messages for the audition.

Big Brother Naija Application and Audition Steps in 2022

Interested applicants are expected to record a 2-minute video of themselves stating why they should be picked to be a Housemate in Season 7 of Big Brother Naija. While doing this, ensure you are real, try as much as possible to be yourself and be self-confident.
Ensure you use a very high-quality phone camera to make the video attractive enough for the panel to watch. Hold the camera firmly to avoid a blurry video output and if necessary, you can record with light to ensure your video is not dark and your face is well seen.
If you notice any error in the video, you can quickly edit it or redo another video to stand a better chance of winning the audition.
Your camera must be held horizontally not in portrait style and make sure you put real-life examples or experiences when describing yourself.
The video must as well contain your Name, E-mail and Phone Number clearly stated and avoid all forms of filters, special video effects, copyrighted music and background music.
Once you are done with the video recording and editing, log on to Africa Magic.tv/BBAudition to fill out the online registration form and upload your video.
If in the process of reviewing your form, any inconsistency in your BioData or deliberate withholding of information that is very relevant to your personality is noticed, you may be disqualified from the selection process.
It is important to also note here that if you apply for the reality TV show audition, you will need to grant the organizer of the event to conduct civil, criminal, medical and other types of background check they deemed fit.
If you are selected for the next phase, you will be contacted via email. So, make sure your email address is correct and check your email to see if you qualify.
All selected applicants would receive an email notification if they have been selected for the next phase of the audition.
If you do not receive an email by the stipulated date, you have not been selected.
If you are selected by the Producer for an interview in the Semi-Finals, you must be willing to travel to Lagos at a time as scheduled by the Producer in its sole discretion for the final selection process. The economy travels and hotel accommodations will be arranged and paid for by the Producer/Organizer.
You must be willing to live in the Big Brother Naija house located in Lagos with approximately a dozen or more strangers where you will have little or no privacy.
If you are chosen to live in the house, it is your responsibility to make any necessary arrangements with your employer and family in anticipation of your extended absence.
The house is extensively outfitted with video and audio recording devices that will record, broadcast and exhibit your actions and voice at all times, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in every room and space in the house for the duration of your participation in the contest.
