A writer on contemporary issues and two-time former press secretary of Nembe Local Government in Bayelsa State, Deacon Solomon Olali-Igabo has called on the attention of the Miracle Governor of the state, His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri to beware of political sycophants and eye service politicians in his government whose stocking trade is to pull their principal down, describing them as not only poisonous but dangerous.

Deacon Solomon Olali-Igabo said that in as much their gimmicks may appear good in human form, such peddlers are very unstable and feeble-minded and that when the going gets tough and their expectation went contrary you see their true colour. He advised Governor Diri to be spiritual and cautious of those around him following the circumstance that led to his emergence as the Miracle Governor.

The former Press Secretary and writer however admonishes the governor to embrace and listen to every public opinion that will come his way but what is paramount is his constant consultation with the person of the Holy Spirit for divine direction.

According to him, Governor Douye Diri’s disposition appears matured and he may have good intention to make the difference beyond his predecessors without even going for second tenure but his failure will come if he allows self-seeking politicians or followers who thinks more for themselves at the expense of the overall development of the State, stating that Governor Diri should not be carried away with second tenure praise singers from the people noting that the means justifies the end.

Deacon Olali-Igabo however commended the Miracle Governor for his visionary leadership and comely disposition stressing that the taste of a cola-nut is in the eating adding that how well a man lived is not his or her big age but what impact or legacy he or she bequeathed (live behind).

He therefore urges Governor Douye Diri to think more of the state especially by giving priority to the three senatorial roads and that of Soku Oil dispute without being compromised so that Bayelsa State under his reign will truly prospered in line with his campaign prosperity Mantra.
