
BRACED Tourism Commission Chairman Celebrates Macaulay Mac-Eteli on Birthday
By Jonah Oba, YENAGOA – The Chairman of the BRACED Tourism Development Commission and Convener of the Africa Blue Economy Roundtable, Dr. Piriye Kiyaramo, has extended warm birthday felicitations to Mr. Macaulay Mac-Eteli, Chief Executive Officer of MEA Gallery, Yenagoa, and Chairman of the Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria (ATPN), Bayelsa State Chapter.
In a goodwill message issued to mark the occasion, Dr. Kiyaramo described Mac-Eteli as a passionate advocate of art, tourism, and culture whose contributions have continued to promote Bayelsa State and Nigeria on the global stage.
According to him, the celebrant has distinguished himself as an accomplished art curator, tourism promoter, and cultural ambassador, fostering collaborations and initiatives that have strengthened cultural exchange and tourism development across Nigeria, Canada, and other parts of Africa.
Dr. Kiyaramo noted that through his leadership of MEA Gallery and ATPN in Bayelsa State, Mac-Eteli has consistently championed the growth of the creative and tourism sectors, creating opportunities for artists, cultural practitioners, and tourism stakeholders.
“A year older, a year greater. Today, we celebrate a visionary leader, a culture icon, and a dedicated advocate for tourism development. His impact transcends borders and continues to inspire many within and beyond the tourism community,” Kiyaramo stated.
He further commended the celebrant’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage and promoting the creative economy, describing him as a key figure in advancing tourism and cultural diplomacy in the region.
