Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.
INSIGHT || Daily Bible Verse for Today Thursday 9th May 2024 – John 4:50
John chapter 1 and verse 4 reveals the Word as Life, with the power to give life. Today’s bible verse is a clear evidence. Jesus speaks, and restores a child’s life in this interesting encounter with the Word as a Life Giver.
This is an account of a man who approaches Jesus in the absence of his son. He leaves the son at home, and ask Jesus to heal him but Jesus only speaks a word of instruction and issues a declaration.
First, the man believes in the ministry of Jesus and word He speaks. Jesus’ ministry has records of several incredible miracles and testimonies that clears every doubt. Secondly, he promptly obeys the instructions without asking questions. He didn’t bother whether Jesus comes to his house to see and touch the child. The verse concludes ‘and he went his way’.
Dearly beloved, there are two important lessons we must learn from this verse – to believe and promptly obey. They serve as the keys to activate the potency of the Word of God bring Life and Give Life to any lifeless situation.
You may be experiencing lifelessness in your body, in marriage or in business, locate appropriate scriptures concerning the situation and pray about it. You too, will enjoy the testimony of Life, today.

Lord, we thank you for yet again, you have shown us that You are the Life Giver. We ask for the grace to believe Your Word and the heart to obey in Jesus name amen.
