Bayelsa NUJ Congratulates Oduma on Appointment as Media Aide to PAP Administrator
The Bayelsa State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), has congratulated Mr. Igonikon Oduma on his appointment as Special Assistant on Media to the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
A statement by the Council Chairman Comrade Samuel Numonengi and Secretary Comrade Ogio Ipigansi described the appointment as well deserved considering the track records of Mr. Oduma in the journalism profession.
Mr. Oduma is an experienced journalist/activist who has worked in reputable regional and national newspapers as well as a news magazine for many years.
He has a strong background in civil society activism and an active member of the Federated Correspondents’ Chapel of the NUJ, Bayelsa State Council.
The statement expresses hope that Mr. Oduma will excel as the spokesperson of the Presidential Amnesty Programme Office and prayed God to grant him wisdom and guidance to enable him carryout his duties creditably.
