Elvis Herbert Emerges Winner Bayelsa Karaoke Singing Competition season 3, Get Governor’s Wife Scholarship
Elvis Herbert emerges winner of season 3 of the Bayelsa State Karaoke Singing Competition held in Yenagoa, capital of Bayelsa.
18-year old Elvis was rewarded with the sum of Seven Hundred Thousand Naira in addition to the educational scholarship awarded him by the Wife of the Governor, Dr.(Mrs.) Gloria Diri.
Dr. Diri who commended the organisers for the show noted that Bayelsa is blessed with great talents.
Kelvin Ebite came 2nd with a sum of N500,000.00 while Emmanuel Silas came third with cash reward of N300,000.00.
The musical show tagged, “Challenge for Prosperity”, was the brainchild of MC Okpeke, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Entertainment.
The member representing Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency, Dr. Fred Agbedi, was equally in attendance at the show.
