[dropcap]T[/dropcap]o see the greatness God put in you, to be a vessel of gold used for God’s highest purposes, that happens when we keep letting God refine us, we keep dealing with what He brings to light. You can’t rebuke everything you don’t like. You can’t pray away every grouchy person, the delays, the clerk that’s rude, the spouse that gets on your nerves. Those are tests. They may not change, but you can change.
A key to seeing God’s best is to stay pliable, walk in humility, be willing to change. What can you do to get along better in your relationships? What improvements can you make—not your spouse, your boss, your children? What areas can you come up higher in to have better relationships? Don’t pray for God to change someone else without first praying, “God, show me where I need to change.”
