
Methodist Church Honours Chief Beteh, Rivers Community’s President
The Methodist Church of Nigeria, Akporo Branch, Sogho Circuit, Rivers State has honoured their illustrious son, Chief Barisuka Prince Beteh, President of Rivers Community in Bayelsa State in Rivers State.
The award was presented during their 2025 Youth Week and Fundraising Event, a noble effort dedicated to raising fund and support for the roofing of their church cathedral.
Chief Beteh took to his Facebook page and wrote;
‘Yesterday, I had the profound honor of receiving the Award of Excellent Service from the Youth Fellowship of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Akporo Branch, Sogho Circuit, Rivers State. The award was presented during their 2025 Youth Week and Fundraising Event, a noble effort dedicated to raising fund and support for the roofing of their church cathedral.
‘This recognition, given in acknowledgment of my dedication to God’s work and service to humanity, means more than words can express. I am truly humbled. This is the very first Award given to me from my Clan since I was elected as President Rivers community Bayelsa state
