NCDMB Wins Best Training Contribution 2023, Reaffirmed Collaboration With ITF
The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has been presented with the award for “Best in Training Contribution 2023” within the ITF Yenagoa Area Office’s jurisdiction.
During the presentation, NCDMB reaffirmed its commitment to stronger collaboration with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) on skills development in the oil and gas industry.
The Capacity Building Directorate of NCDMB received a delegation from ITF Yenagoa, led by Area Manager Uzogbe Hope, at the Nigerian Content Tower in Swali, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The visit introduced the new ITF leadership and explored opportunities for partnership in training, certification, and institutional strengthening.
The delegation also used the opportunity to formally present NCDMB with the award for “Best in Training Contribution 2023” within the ITF Yenagoa Area Office’s jurisdiction.
Receiving the award, Mr. Esueme Dan Kikile, General Manager, Human Capital Development, restated that the ITF Compliance Certificate remains mandatory for all contractors and vendors with the Board. He added that NCDMB delivers two forms of training: project based programmes that close industry gaps and intervention programmes that equip youths with self-reliance skills.
“NCDMB is always open to partnerships that enhance human capacity and strengthen Nigeria’s oil and gas industry,” Kikile said.
The session also featured an interactive Q&A, with NCDMB officials reaffirming that ITF certification is a compulsory requirement under the Bureau for Public Procurement (BPP).
The visit ended with both agencies pledging continuous closer cooperation at state and national levels.
