NDDC Applauds President Tinubu for Visionary Leadership, Commends Support for Niger Delta
Lagos, Nigeria – The Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what it described as his visionary leadership, unwavering commitment to national development, and sustained support for the Niger Delta region as his administration marks its third year in office.
The commendation was made during a courtesy visit by members of the NDDC Governing Board to the President at his Lagos residence over the weekend.
Leading the delegation was the Chairman of the NDDC Board, Chiedu Ebie. Also present were the Managing Director of the Commission, Samuel Ogbuku, and the Executive Director, Corporate Services, Ifedayo Abegunde.
The Board members congratulated President Tinubu on the successful completion of the third year of his Renewed Hope Administration, noting that his leadership has continued to inspire confidence in the nation’s developmental agenda while fostering progress across the Niger Delta region.
Speaking after the meeting, Dr. Ogbuku stated that the visit provided an opportunity for the Commission to brief the President on the progress made in executing its mandate and delivering impactful projects across the nine Niger Delta states.
According to him, the Commission highlighted several strategic interventions and developmental initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure, enhancing human capital development, and promoting sustainable growth within the region.
The NDDC leadership expressed appreciation for the Federal Government’s continued support, emphasizing that the President’s commitment to regional development has strengthened the Commission’s capacity to drive transformation and improve the quality of life of Niger Delta residents.
The visit underscores the Commission’s resolve to sustain its developmental efforts while aligning with the broader objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The NDDC reaffirmed its commitment to delivering people-oriented projects and programmes that will accelerate socio-economic growth and deepen the transformation of the Niger Delta region.
