Osinbajo No Longer Our Member, Lagos APC Declares
Less than 24 hours after his declaration to join the 2023 presidential race, Nigeria’s vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo is no longer a member of the All Progressive Congress, APC declares the Lagos State chapter.
Already strong criticism trails the the number two declaration message via social media today in Abuja.
According to sources, the VP moved his membership from Lagos to Ogun, his home state to avoid atrocation with his erstwhile boss, Bola Tinuba.
The Lagos state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), spokesman, Laolu Akande said that that the VP Osinbajo is no longer an APC Lagos stalwart.
The presidential aspirant moved his party membership to Ogun state in Ward One, Ikenne to prevent any suspension that may emerge if he declares his intention while Bola Tinubu is also vying for the same position. – Chidi Cali
