
Police Constable Recruitment Screening Concludes April 18, 2026; CP Applauds Transparent Process
The Bayelsa State Police Command has announced that the ongoing recruitment screening exercise for Police Constables is nearing completion, with the process described as orderly, transparent, and professionally conducted.
The screening exercise, which began on March 9, 2026, is scheduled to conclude on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The process includes both physical screening carried out by the Nigeria Police Force and credential verification conducted by the Police Service Commission (PSC).
The Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa State Command, Iyamah Daniel Edebor, psc, IICFIP, foosi, commended officers involved in the exercise for their discipline and high level of professionalism. He reassured members of the public of the Command’s commitment to maintaining a credible and transparent recruitment process.
Candidates have also been reminded that the recruitment exercise is completely free of charge and are strongly advised to remain vigilant and avoid falling victim to fraudsters.
The Commissioner further expressed appreciation to all candidates for their orderly conduct throughout the exercise and wished them success as the screening process comes to an end.
