Rivers Chief Judge Charges Workers to Become Computer Literates

Rivers State Chief Judge, Justice Simeon Amadi has called on staff of the state judiciary including registrars to ensure that they are computer literate inorder to speed up service delivery, the Chief Judge announcement.

Justice Amadi made the call during the opening of a two day workshop for staff of the state judiciary with the theme” Repositioning the Staff of Rivers State Judiciary for Effective Service Delivery”.

The Chief Judge expressed dissatisfaction with the work of most registrars noting that they cannot draft orders and endorse records properly.

He urged them to be in control of their various courts for maximum productivity adding that they should also take advantage of the workshop to aquire the needed skills for effective delivery.

Acting Chief Registrar, Mr David Maduenyi said the essence of the workshop is to reposition the judiciary in line with the vision of the chief judge.

He enjoined staff to render quality service with relevant skills while assuring the chief judge that the judiciary under his watch would be taken to an enviable height.
