The Voice Nigeria 2023 Season 4 Episode 14 – Team Naeto C in Focus

Report by Victor DeGreat – It’s the final team for The Battle on the Voice Nigeria 2023 stage, for season 4 and episode 14 as Naeto C pairs his talents. The Battle is third stage on the Voice Nigeria, an annual television reality show that shows musical talents across Nigeria. The talents are paired to compete and who is sent to the live shows by the coach and goes for the public votes.

Jennifer and Fatima – The Voice Nigeria 2023 Season 14

Let’s see the pair of Jennifer and Fatima singing Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me by Elton John. To begin with, it was a miss-match in terms of body size and figure. Voice texture and helping the audience see the individual difference in the performance is the aim, however, Jennifter and Fatima tries to find a common ground to entertain the audience.

Simple costumes, but colours of the sky, white and blue, so audience must keep their eyes on them. Fatima’s make-up and accessories didn’t complement her voice thus allowed Jennifer steal the night with her imposing voice, height and brilliant performance.

Adanna and Nicola – The Voice Nigeria 2023 Season 4

Naeto C’s pair of Adanna and Nicole as they performed Dancing with a Stranger by Sam Smith and Norman for the 14th episode of The Voice Nigeria 2023 season 4 was indescribable.

It was an unusual start from the duo. Nicole took the stage as she opens the duet taking the lead. From her costume, make-up, and hair-do, she stole the show leaving Adanna to struggle through. Even the judges said, it was a poor start for Nicole but she was imposing. Her stage presences cannot be denied. Whoever told Adanna to stand still at the back at the beginning, didn’t do well.

Despite, Adanna’s struggle with her voice and dancing to find a space for herself, her partner, Nicole has established herself with her tone. Adanna did the dancing but Nicole did the performance staying calm performing the big sister role.

Amaka and Star – The Voice Nigeria 2023 Season 4

Performing Wild Thoughts by DJ Khaled featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller is Naeto C’s pair of Amaka and Star on the Voice Nigeria 2023 season 4 on the 14th episode for the Battles.

An interesting performance from these unique talents with distinct tones and vocal strength coupled with great vibes. They came out for a wild performance in their costumes, make-up and accessories. While Amaka came to impose herself, her voice is all she needs to dim Star’s star during the performance.

Star took the opening lead, she gave her best, using her ringing vocal cords to dim Amaka. Truly, Amaka knew her mission on the Voice Nigeria 2023’s stage, so, she used all available tool to work the magic to her favor. Kudos to the girls for their tenacity and bold move to recreate and make the song theirs.

Adeola and Jeremiah – The Voice Nigeria 2023 Season 4

The last pair of Naeto C for the Battle for episode 14 in the season 4 of the Voice Nigeria 2023 is a male and female. The only that pair that had different gender. Adeola and Jeremiah performed King of Leon’s Use Somebody. Sadly, Jeremiah is going for the public votes as Adeola becomes the star of the pair. The singing, voice control and performance on stage by the pair is top notch.

Anyway, they were too causal in their costume, despite, having a good vocal strength and texture. It appears Jeremiah was a backup singer, as he is always singing from behind.

Adeola’s voice betrays her body build and size. The thinness of her voice rings through the song even when she is not singing.

The close of the night of episode 14, Fatima, Nicole, Star, and the only male in the Team Neato C, Jeremiah were sent to the public votes. Only one of them will survive to join Jennifer, Adanna, Amaka and Adeola for the live shows for The Voice Nigeria 2023 season 4.
