Bayelsa RTEAN Boss Nominated As Member of ECOWAS Youth Council

The Chairman of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), Bayelsa state chapter, Oyinkuro Erebor has been nominated as a member of Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Youth Council.

Speaking to Journalists in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital shortly after the nomination, the RTEAN Chairman in the state noted that the nomination is due to his dedication to duty, stressing that the nomination will spur him to put in more effort at ensuring that more youths are positively engaged in the transportation sector in not not only Bayelsa state but the entire West African sub-region as a whole.

He further pointed out that youths in the West African sub-region should always look inwards by tapping their God given endowments, advising them to always believe in themselves as that is the surest way to attain greater heights on earth, especially in this 21st century.

It could be recalled that the RTEAN Chairman in the state recently celebrated his one year in office and used the occasion to call on all road users across the country to always adhere strictly to road safety rules to avoid carnages on Nigerian roads.

Oyinkuro Erebor who also doubles as the Vice Chairman of Trade Union Congress (TUC) has also received an award of Global Good Governance for Excellence in leadership and Philanthropy in addition to an honourary Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration (Honourary) by Prowess University.
