BMNA Set To Honour Pastor Afemia Wanumonyo Briggs As “Clergywoman Of The Year”
The Pastor of Branch of Christ Mission International Church, Agudama, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Pastor (Mrs.) Afemia Wanumonyo Briggs, has been nominated for an Award of Excellence by the organisers of the prestigious Bayelsa Media Network Awards (BMNA).
According to a statement issued to newsmen in Yenagoa by the Project Manager, Mr. Blessing Matthew Ozegbe, Pastor Afemia Wanumonyo Briggs is a clergywoman par excellence whose phenomenal teachings have positively impacted the lives of many. Mr. Ozegbe described Pastor Briggs as a kind-hearted and God-fearing clergywoman who has shown enormous compassion to humanity.
He noted that the clergywoman is humble and visionary, with vast knowledge of the Gospel, and has helped to increase the understanding of Christians through her mind-blowing and impactful teachings.
The Project Manager said Pastor Afemia Wanumonyo Briggs is a renowned and anointed woman of God who, through her ministry, has brought down spiritual strongholds, released many from spiritual captivity, and brought respite to the lives of numerous Christians.
Mr. Ozegbe further described Pastor Afemia Wanumonyo Briggs as a trailblazer and a very compassionate clergywoman whose passion for developing people positively, improving their standard of living, and winning souls to Christ cannot be ignored. He said these outstanding qualities informed her nomination for the prestigious BMNA award as “Clergywoman Of The Year.”
He enjoined clergy across the country to take a cue from the humble and Christ-like nature of Pastor Afemia Wanumonyo Briggs by impacting the lives of Christians meaningfully, showering them with love as Christ did, and helping them attain salvation.
