Desperate Stowaway Drama at Airport as Man Crawls Under Overland Aircraft unfolded this afternoon when airport officials were thrown into confusion after a man, identified as Segun Martins, attempted to hide beneath an Overland Airways plane preparing for takeoff.
Witnesses said Segun slipped under the aircraft and tried to conceal himself between the tyres in a dangerous bid to go unnoticed. Security personnel, who were on ground during final checks, swiftly spotted him and pulled him out before the aircraft began to taxi.
He was immediately handed over to the Airport Police Command for further investigation. During initial questioning, Segun claimed he believed the aircraft was heading to the United States and thought he could “escape” by hiding underneath it.
The incident left many shocked and concerned, highlighting growing desperation and raising fresh questions about airport perimeter security.
