Ekeremor Assembly Race: Ebilade Ekerefe Pledges Better Roads, Education, Healthcare
EKEREMOR – Hon. Comr. Ebilade Ekerefe has unveiled an ambitious development agenda centred on improved infrastructure, quality education, accessible healthcare and youth and women empowerment as he seeks election into the Bayelsa State House of Assembly to represent Ekeremor Constituency 1.
The aspirant, who is campaigning under the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), outlined his vision in a campaign flyer bearing the message, “A Better Ekeremor Is Possible,” with a commitment to sustainable development and improved living conditions for constituents.
The campaign message, themed “The Man, The Vision, The Mission,” highlights five priority areas: better roads and infrastructure, quality education, improved healthcare, youth and women empowerment, and sustainable development.
The agenda places infrastructure development and social services at the centre of Ekerefe’s political ambition, while emphasising the need to create opportunities for young people and women in the constituency.
With the slogan, “Together We Can Make It Happen,” the campaign also seeks to rally support around a shared vision for the constituency’s development.
The flyer identifies Ekerefe as a candidate for the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, representing Constituency 1 in Ekeremor Local Government Area, with the NDC’s slogan, “Power to the People,” reinforcing the party’s campaign message.
However, the campaign material does not provide details on how the proposed agenda would be funded, the implementation timeline or the specific projects to be undertaken if he is elected.
The development-focused message comes as political activities and conversations around representation and grassroots development continue to shape the state’s political landscape.
