2027: Ekeremor Women Rally Behind Mitin for Second Term
EKEREMOR –Â Women in Ward 8, Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, have endorsed the member representing the constituency in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Living Mitin Ebibaekebena, for a second term ahead of the 2027 elections.
The endorsement was led by the Chairman of the Ekeremor Rural Development Authority (RDA), Hon. Mrs Deme Debra Eriye-Pamosoo, Esq., during Mitin’s grassroots engagement with women in the ward.
Eriye-Pamosoo attributed the endorsement to the lawmaker’s legislative contributions and development projects across Wards 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of the local government area.
She cited road construction, solar-powered boreholes, the Ekeremor town hall initiative, police station renovations, student scholarships and empowerment programmes among the projects credited to the lawmaker.
The RDA chairman also highlighted projects executed by the authority under her leadership, with support from Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, and Deputy Governor, Pastor Peter Pereotubo Akpe.
The projects include road construction in Isrealo Zion and Ekeremor Federated Community, renovation of a six-classroom block at Community Primary School, Temekiri Zion, installation of a solar-powered borehole at Model Secondary School, Ekeremor, and renovation of the RDA secretariat.
She commended the state government’s infrastructure and economic development initiatives and pledged to intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.
Eriye-Pamosoo, who also serves as South-South Zonal Director for Youth Mobilisation in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, said her mobilisation efforts would extend to women and youths in support of Mitin and other APC candidates.
She listed the presidential, National Assembly, House of Representatives and local government contests among the elections for which she pledged to mobilise support for the All Progressives Congress.
The endorsement comes as political activities and consultations gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections.
