Ekisa Binaebi Commends Ex-agitators for Dropping Frivolous Petitions Against Adokiye

The Ijaw Front Line Crusaders, IFLC has commended the leadership of the Niger Delta Liberation Movement (NDLM) for dropping their selfish and frivolous petitions against Adokiye Tombomieye of the NNPC.

Following up on an apology letter written and signed by the leadership of the NDLM, Mr Ekisa noted that this is a step in the right direction but admonished that such sentimental and selfish procedure in expressing opinions must be avoided in the Niger Delta in that it is capable of depleting our own progress and give room for foreigners to mock at us as a people.

Mr Ekisa appreciated Mr Adokiye for not taking up the issue of character defamation against a baseless and frivolous petition against him by an amnesty general Oghenekaro Tony Edornd his cohorts having accused the chief operating officer upstream in an earlier publication of complacency and non compliance of the local content law of community participation and project executions in the locals and practice of self enrichments.

Going forward, the Ijaw Front line crusaders sent a strong note of warning to others from the Niger Delta to desist from witch hunting our people in high positions just for selfish gains because some other highly place personality will not take it likely and that will give room for the law to take its cause.

According to Ekisa, it is high time the Niger Delta youths make conscious to thing outside the box and consistently add value and virtue to stay relevant in society and shun the temptation to become element of destruction to the development of the region by selfish involvements.

He further commend the NNPC leadership for their concerted efforts in making the Niger Delta a progressive hub citing the tran 7 project and many others as an example.
