Some residents who spoke to newsmen said they have suffered untold hardship for about seven years as the bad roads has affected them socially and economically as businesses has continued to be on the downward slide due to the negative effect of the flooding.
One resident, Mr Andrew Okonedo lamented that since he moved into the area with his family, he has been suffering due to the bad roads adding that they moved in during the dry season hence he did not know that his street was that bad when it rains.
He noted that some families were forced to seek shelter elsewhere with relatives during the rainy season which has been quite traumatic.
