ENWAF Conducts Free Medical Outreach for Business Owners in Ekeki

The Eunice Nnachi Women Advocacy Foundation, ENWAF has conducted a free medical outreach to residents and business owners in Ekeki community in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.

Chief Executive Officer, CEO ENWAF, Lady Eunice Nnachi noted that the medical outreach is part of activities of the foundation to contribute meaningfully to the development of the society adding that healthy people make up a healthy society.

Lady Nnachi emphasized the need for persons to check their blood pressure and blood sugar levels as these are indications of sound health.

On her part, Chief Executive Officer, CEO Kiosate Boy Child Foundation, Mrs Stella Doumu advised parents to take proper care of the boys as much as the girl child as they constitute a larger percentage of leaders in the family and society.

Lady Doumu also called on young boys and girls to stay away from hard drugs as they are very detrimental to their mental and physical health.

One of the beneficiaries of the free medical outreach, Miss Ebizi Victor expressed appreciation to the non-governmental organizations for organizing the program.

The free medical outreach organized by ENWAF in collaboration with Kiosate Boy Child Foundation had over two hundred persons coming out to check their blood pressure and blood sugar levels in Ekeki community and its environs.
