Governor Diri’s Loyalist, Abiola Beredougha Defects to APC
The Founder and National Coordinator of the Credible Abiola Movement (CAM) Hon. Abiola A. Beredougha has resigned his membership from the People’s Democratic Party( PDP) and defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon. Abiola an Indigene of Ikebiri Community in Southern Ijaw LGA, Bayelsa State, defected with his over five thousand members in his Yenagoa residence.
Citing his defection to his loyalty and solidarity to Sen. Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State who has just defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon. Abiola commended the Bayelsa State Governor for his development strides in the State especially the Oporoma Ukubie road that is under construction.
The former Youth President and Community Development Committee (CDC) Chairman of Ikebiri Community highlighted performance of the Governor as his major reason of joining the APC, noting that Sen.Douye Diri has surpassed his predecessors and has brought genuine transformation to Bayelsa State.
He called on all his supporters and all Bayelsans to rally round the governor and give him the necessary support he deserves for him to thrive in his new Party the APC.
The philantropist also commended Senator Kombowei Benson and other stakeholders from his area for following Governor Diri to his new party the APC and thanked all the various LGA Coordinators of Credible Abiola Movement and all the over 5000 members for their defection to the APC Assuring the Governor that their votes will be delivered to the All Progressives Congress and President BOLA AHMED TINUBU in the 2027 Elections.
