Hallelujah Challenge 2026 Kicks Off Tonight, Worshippers Set to “Soar” in Mercy Edition
Worshippers across Nigeria and around the world are set for an intense season of prayer and praise as the Hallelujah Challenge 2026 officially kicks off tonight, February 9, with thousands expected to tune in nightly from 11:59 p.m. (WAT).
The globally followed online worship movement, convened by renowned gospel minister Nathaniel Bassey, will run daily until February 28, 2026, and has been themed the “Mercy Edition.” Organisers say participants should expect a profound encounter with God’s mercy, renewal, and spiritual elevation throughout the period.
In an announcement shared ahead of the kickoff, worshippers were urged to prepare for what was described as an atmosphere of divine visitation, with calls for participants to set their alarms and remain consistent throughout the exercise.
The nightly sessions will be streamed live across multiple digital platforms, including Instagram, Mixlr (nathanielblow), Facebook (Nathaniel Bassey Official), and YouTube (Nathaniel Bassey Main), ensuring global accessibility for believers irrespective of location.
Since its inception, the Hallelujah Challenge has grown into an international worship phenomenon, drawing millions of participants who testify to miracles, healings, and life-transforming experiences during previous editions.
As anticipation builds, organisers have encouraged worshippers—popularly referred to as Hallelujahns—to invite others and actively participate throughout the 20-day spiritual exercise, which officially begins tonight at 11:59 p.m. WAT.
