Bayelsa Non-Denominational Music Fiesta Set To Unite Churches In Grand 1,000-Voice Choral Experience
By Dim Oba – The forthcoming Bayelsa Non-Denominational Music Fiesta is set to take center stage as a major faith-based cultural gathering aimed at promoting unity among Christian denominations through music and worship.
The event, which has drawn wide anticipation across Bayelsa State, is designed to foster love, harmony, and togetherness among churches, using music as a universal language of expression and connection.
Scheduled to hold on April 17, 2026, the fiesta will take place at Apop Church, located opposite the former Mr. Biggs in Opolo, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Organisers say the programme will feature a grand 1,000-voice mass choir performance, music workshops, seminars, and a variety of entertainment activities that celebrate Christian unity and creativity.
A key highlight of the event will be a prize presentation to the best-performing choir, adding a competitive and celebratory dimension to the gathering.
The Convener, Queen Elizabeth Emmanuel, noted that the fiesta is more than just a musical event, but a spiritual platform aimed at strengthening bonds among churches while showcasing musical excellence.
With preparations in top gear, the Bayelsa Non-Denominational Music Fiesta is expected to attract church groups, music lovers, and stakeholders from across the state for a memorable and uplifting experience.
