Nigerian Women in Oil and Gas Hold Pre-Conference Webinar November 26
The Nigerian Women in Oil and Gas Pre-Conference Webinar has been scheduled for 26 November 2025 at 10:00 a.m., bringing together professionals, thought-leaders and advocates for gender inclusion across the energy sector.
With the theme “Breaking Barriers, Shaping the Future: Women’s Voices in Oil and Gas,” the virtual forum is designed to ignite conversations around leadership, diversity, and the evolving role of women in the industry. Organisers say the theme reflects the urgent need to strengthen female participation in decision-making spaces while charting a more inclusive future for the sector.
The webinar will serve as a precursor to the main Nigerian Women in Oil and Gas Conference and is expected to feature speakers from government agencies, international oil companies, indigenous operators, and policy advocacy groups. Discussions will centre on opportunities for career advancement, visibility, capacity development, and the structural challenges women still face.
Participants are encouraged to register ahead of the event using the QR code provided by the organisers. Stakeholders say the session will offer insights and practical strategies for women looking to navigate and excel within the industry.
The initiative aligns with ongoing efforts by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and other partners to promote diversity and empower women within the oil and gas value chain.
