
NOUN VC Visits IGP, Seeks Expansion of Police Study Centre
The Vice-Chancellor, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Prof. Olufemi Peters, has visited the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, at Force Headquarters, Abuja, in a move aimed at deepening collaboration between the university and the Nigeria Police Force.
The Vice-Chancellor, who was joined by other top management officers, expressed appreciation to the Police for their unwavering support to NOUN, particularly in the establishment of the Special Police Study Centre in Dei-Dei, Abuja.
Prof. Peters reiterated NOUN’s mandate of widening access to higher education for Nigerians regardless of profession, location, or schedule, noting that the establishment of the Police Special Study Centre was a testament to the university’s commitment to making education available to all.
He commended the IGP and the Force leadership for their support in bringing this vision to life.
