Streams of Joy Devotional 19th September 2022 || Bible Verse of the Day

“And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.” (Joshua 6:2)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, God told Joshua that He had given him Jericho, and the king and the mighty men. God did not promise Joshua the walls of Jericho. The wall of Jericho was not part of God’s promise; the wall of Jericho was not part of what God ordained for the children of Israel. The wall of Jericho was an opposition, it was not part of God’s promise, and it fell down flat. What was not part of the portion of Israel went down flat.

Friend, God says, the walls that are standing against you are not part of the promise, the opposition against your destiny is not part of God’s promise, and God says, every wall that is standing against you shall crumble. Every satanic opposition to your progress shall crumble; every wall standing against your career progress shall go down; every opposition against your next level shall fall; every wall standing against your lifting will crumble.

The wall of Jericho was not part of the agreement God had with the children of Israel, and it fell. Hear God’s prophetic word: everything that is not in agreement with God’s word concerning your life shall crumble. Every sickness that is contrary to God’s word concerning your health shall crumble; every limitation that is inconsistent with God’s plan for your advancement shall crumble. Everything that is contrary to your new season shall fall.

As you receive these words, every ancestral curse will fall; every stagnation and delay will fall; every cancer will fall; every disease that has defied doctors will fall; every barrenness will fall; every lack will fall; every rejection and frustration will fall; every door that has been shut against you will fall; every unfruitfulness will fall; every demonic attack will fall.

If it is not part of God’s promise for your life, and if it is not consistent with God’s word concerning you, then it will not stand. Speak to every wall in your destiny, and command the walls to fall down flat.

2 Corinthians 10:4 says: “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;”
