“And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.” (Mark 3:1)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture tells the tale of how Jesus came into the temple and met a man with the withered hand. That man was not blind, so his eyes were working; he could walk, so his feet were functional; his hearing was not impaired; his hand was the major issue he had, and it soon became his identity. Jesus showed up, and healed the withered hand. Jesus showed up, and what was not working began to work. Jesus showed up and ensured that all things were working.

Friend, as 2022 begins, hear God’s prophetic word to you: all things are working. Everything is working for your good. Your environment will work for your good. Your haters will work for your good. Your helpers will work for your good. The economy will work for your good. Policy makers will work for your good. Those that preside over you will work for your good. Kings and nobles will work for your good. Your nation will work for your good.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: in 2022, your health is working; your finances are working; your career is working; your business is working; your ministry is working; your family is working; your marriage is working; your relationships are working; your ideas are working; your helpers are sent to work on your behalf; as the sun rises each day, everything will work in your favour; the earth is under command to help you and work for you.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: whatsoever did not work in the past year will work in this New Year. The good news that remained pending and elusive in time past will manifest in this season. The congratulations that didn’t show up in the past is showing up this year. The things that remained incomplete as 2021 ended will be made complete in 2022. Everything is aligning in your favour. Everything is positioned to deliver good news to you.

Your hard places are coming alive; your wilderness is becoming a fruitful field; your rocky places are made smooth; welcome to that season where all things are working in your favour.

Romans 8:28 says: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
