The Movie, High Eleven Comes to Cinema in Yenagoa
High Eleven is a romantic, revenge and dramatic and a must watch movie, produced by Comrade Maxwell Jerry Opoikumo and directed by fast-rising director, PMD Axedit, it will be premiered in Yenagoa today (18 August 2022).
According to the director of the movie, PMD Axedit said High Eleven is something Bayelsans should look forward to adding that it is something worth spending money for to watch.
In his words, “the work is mind-blowing. Yes, Bayelsans have been producing short films and skits but this being a feature film, anybody can sit in the cinema and watch it for 2 hours. it means, the movie is intriguing.
“With what we have in Bayelsa because the film didn’t go outside, everything was done in Bayelsa. With the least we have here to work with, I am proud to say, this is Bayelsa and it is up to any standard.
“As the director, I know we have done what we can do and I am sure Bayelsans will be proud to say this movie is done in Bayelsa and it was done by Bayelsans. It is project worth seeing”, he said.
Also speaking with our correspondent, the producer, Comrade Maxwell Opoikumo said the movie is an inspiration that came from his wife who has the story.
He said, “she got the inspiration from a family she had a contact with many many years ago. In order to do something different from what has been done in Bayelsa, we decided to do High Eleven”.
Comrade Opoikumo, who is chairman of the Association of Movie Producers, Bayelsa State chapter explained that the production had several challenges ranging from location, props, high cost of hotels.
The AMP chairman said the expectation is high but Bayelsans should expect a mind blowing, massive blockbuster.
