2027: Bayelsa Assembly Hopeful, Dimaro, Gets Royal Blessings, Campaign Materials, Cash Gift
Yenagoa – A frontline aspirant of the Bayelsa Assembly seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Bayelsa State, Dr. Felix Boye Dimaro, at the weekend received royal blessings, campaign materials and cash donations to boost his election bid.
Dimaro, who is vying for Ekeremor constituency 2 seat in the Bayelsa State House Of Assembly, stated that his aspiration to represent his people is a divine mandate from God.
The crowd of supporters who gathered at his hometown Peretorugbene community square gave him a rousing welcome while presenting the materials as a surprise to help boost his election bid.
The people said the decision reflects their confidence in Dr. Dimaro’s track record in administrative dealings over the years, in what they described as proactive and people oriented representation.
They stated that Dimaro will bring another level of representation that will promote grassroots engagement, empowerment initiatives and dedication to constituent welfare as the reason for the support.
In his response, Dr. Dimaro, lauded his constituent for what he called “a demonstration of love, trust, and confidence in him” , promising that he won’t let them down when he win the election and emerge their representative.
Dimaro, who maintained that his hope and guidance in the journey has always been God all the way, added that he is dedicated to the service of the people of constituency 2 and Bayelsa State.
He said “Today in my hometown, Peretorugbene, marked a momentous occasion. I had the privilege of meeting and updating my people on the progress of our quest to provide effective representation for Ekeremor Constituency II in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly”
The energy and support were truly unprecedented. Seeing the youths and women take to the dance floor in such excitement, bolstered by their prayers and guidance of council of chiefs, fuels our journey toward the finish line.
I ask for more than just well-wishes; please remember me in your morning devotions. I say this with deep sincerity. As a former Prayer and General Secretary of the Redeemed Christian Fellowship, I understand the profound power of collective prayer.
I am constantly reminded that this journey is guided by a higher power. Below are some, out of the many ways, God has shown up through the kindness of others.
“Upon arriving home today, I was met with bags of high-quality printed campaign caps and T-shirts. I still haven’t identified the donor, but it is a clear confirmation of God’s word that He will send people to support this vision.
Also generosity from peers, my former university classmate sent ₦500,000, while another contributed ₦250,000 to support our political pursuit. Others have also sent in cash donations but they do not want their identities revealed. My prayer for these donors is that the life of Christ dwell richly in them richly.
