Bayelsa Government Holds Dinner in honour Olubolade at 70
The Bayelsa State Government hosted a birthday dinner in honour of a former Military Administrator of the State, Retired Navy Captain Caleb Omoniyi Olubolade, for attaining 70 years.
The Acting Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, Wife of the Governor of the State, Dr. (Mrs.) Gloria Diri, former Military Governor of old Rivers State, HRM King Alfred Diete-Spiff, former Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Retired Rear Admiral Gboribiogha John Jonah, other top government functionaries, family members, friends and well-wishers graced the colourful event.
The summary of all the speeches on the occasion was that “Caleb Olubolade” is a good man, selfless leader and a distinguished Nigerian who now sees Bayelsa as his home.
The birthday dinner took place at the DSP Alamiyeseigha Banquat Hall with guests across Nigeria attending the event. It witnessed a short documentary on Caleb Omoniyi Olubolade’s arrival to Bayelsa as Military Administrator in 1996 and his many achievement in the young state.
