Diri graces Church EK Clark 96th Birthday Thanksgiving in Abuja
Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State joined family members, friends and associates of Ijaw icon and National Leader, Pa E.K Clark to thank God for his 96th birthday.
At the Birthday Thanksgiving conducted by St. James’ Anglican Church, Asokoro, Governor Diri acknowledged the legacies and immense contribution of Pa Clark to the development of Ijaw Nation and Nigeria at large.
The Governor who thanked Chief Clark for his exemplary life, said, “On behalf of the government and good people of Bayelsa State, I say congratulations and wish you many more years in sound health. Happy birthday sir.”
Others at the birthday thanksgiving were former Governor of Edo State, Prof. Osaremhein Osunbor, Hon. (Dr.) Fred Agbedi, Ambassador Boladei Godknows Igali, Coordinator of Presidential Amnesty Programme, Gen. Barry Ndiomu (rtd), Mr. Mike Igini, Chief Douyi Naingba, and Chief Ayakeme Whiskey.
