ENWAF Gives Free Medical Care at Tombia Motor Park
As part of its humanitarian services to the society, the Eunice Nnachi Women Advocacy Foundation, ENWAF in collaboration with the Kiosate Boy Child Foundation have embarked on a free medical outreach for residents and business people in Tombia Motor park.
The medical outreach recorded a massive turn out as traders, people passing by and commuters all joined a queue to check their blood pressure, and sugar level.
The Founder and CEO of ENWAF, Lady Eunice Nnachi advised the commuters and traders to pay attention to their health even as they go about their business and other activities.
She noted that the outreach is an opportunity for them to do check up as many of them are so busy looking for their daily needs hence they should use it wisely ‘to check their sugar level and blood pressure.
Also speaking, Lady Stella Doumu,CEO Kiosate Boy Child Foundation equally advised the commuters and traders not to neglect any sign of ill health in their bodies.
She encouraged them to make the checking of their sugar level and blood pressure a regular exercise inorder to ensure that they are in sound health to carry out their daily duties.
Over two hundred persons were seen checking their blood pressure while about 97 persons checked their sugar level.
It might interest you to know that High blood pressure has caused many untimely deaths and increase in sugar level causes sicknesses in the body which can be prevented if detected early.
To assist persons who may not have the time to visit the hospitals to check their BP and Sugar level, also counseling services where given to persons who need more medical attention and make referrals to the hospitals where necessary.
