Abuja High Court Grants Godwin Emefiele N300m Bail
Godwin Emefiele, former Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN governor gets a N300m bail from a Federal High Court siting in Abuja.
The court also schedule the case hearing on 18th of January 2024.
The former CBN governor Godwin Emefiele is facing trail on the alleged procurement fraud suit.
Emefiele was accused of using his position to confer a corrupt advantage on Sa’adatu Yaro, a staff member of the CBN by awarding a contract for the procurement of 43 vehicles worth N1.2 billion between 2018 and 2020.
