Former President Obasanjo Commissions Longest Road in Akwa Ibom
Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has formally opened a 29km six lane road in Etinan/Ndon/Onan road in Akwa Ibom state.
The road which has two cables bridges is one of the very big projects of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s administration built by a Chinese company.
The road which is the longest built in the state provides access to various communities in Etinan and Onan local government areas, it also links the South East West road and industrial areas in Akwa Ibom state.
Former President Obasanjo commended Governor Emmanuel for his commitment in providing infrastructural development for the welfare of the people.

However, he called on the governor to provide employment opportunities for the people to enable them take care of government facilities in their communities.
Governor Udom Emmanuel who expressed delight at the completion of the project noted that despite the economic challenges in the country, Akwa Ibom state is still making progress.
He assured the people of the state that he would continue to embark on more projects for their benefits until he leaves office in May 2023.
