“I Am Satisfied With Governors’ Handling of the Process” — Tinubu Speaks After APC Presidential Primary Voting
Lagos – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of governors and party officials following his participation in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election process at his Ikoyi ward.
Speaking with journalists shortly after casting his vote, the President commended the leadership of the party for what he described as an orderly and transparent exercise, noting that the process reflected internal democracy and unity within the APC.
“I am satisfied with governors’ handling of the process,” Tinubu stated, while emphasizing the importance of peace, discipline, and fairness throughout the exercise.
The President also applauded party members for their turnout and commitment to the democratic process, describing the participation of stakeholders across the country as encouraging for the future of the party and the nation’s democracy.
Tinubu’s appearance at the Ikoyi ward attracted party faithful, supporters, and residents who gathered around the polling area to witness the exercise. Security personnel were also on ground to ensure orderliness and smooth coordination during the voting process.
Political observers say the President’s remarks may further strengthen confidence among party members ahead of subsequent stages of the APC’s internal electoral activities.
The APC leadership has repeatedly assured members of its commitment to conducting transparent and credible primaries across all levels, ahead of future political contests in the country.
