INC Electoral Committee Releases List of Aspirants for April 20 Secreening

The Ijaw National Congress, INC Electoral Committee releases list of aspirants for elections into the Executive Council of the Pan-Ijaw body.

According to a statement by the election body, the general public is invited to give reasons why such persons cannot contest before the dates set aside for screening.

The dates for the screening exercise is April 20 and 21.

About 33 persons contesting for various positions in the apex Ijaw group with four for the plum seat zoned to the Western Zone of the congress.

The chairman of INC Eleco, Professor Emeritus Fubara Dagogo led INC ELECO said the release of the list of aspirants is a commitment of the committee to conduct a free and fair elections of the Ijaw National Congress.

The Electoral committee also hinted that they will publish list of delegates so as to ascertain eleco fairness to conduct an historic elections of the INC.
