NIMET Predicts Thunderstorm Across Nigeria Till Friday
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency, NIMET predicts cloudiness and thunderstorm from today till Friday across the country.
NIMET weather report outlook says there would be partly cloudy and cloudy skies in the northern part of the country today in states such as Kebbi, Sokoto, Zamfara, Gombe, Bauchi, Taraba, Adamawa, Yobe, Katsina, Jigawa and Kaduna in the morning and evening hours.
According to the reports, there would be prospects of rain over parts of the inland and South coastal cities in the morning hours with thunderstorm in areas over Edo, Delta, Ekiti, Anambra, Enugu, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Rivers, Bayelsa, Cross Rivers and Lagos states in the afternoon and evening hours.
It also predicts that partly cloudy skies is expected over the northern region on Thursday morning with chances of thunderstorm over Taraba and Gombe states.
NIMET envisages cloudy skies on Friday with some parts of sunshine in the north during the morning hours and prospects of isolated thunderstorm in several parts of Kaduna and Taraba states later in the day.
The inland and South coastal cities would be cloudy on Friday morning with chances of rain over Enugu, Lagos and Cross Rivers State while there would be thunderstorm in Ekiti, Osun, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Cross Rivers and Lagos states later in the day.
